Trader Joe's

"First off, im a Trader Joe's FAN.. and every time I've gone, even when out of state, my view of TJ stayed the same. I used to frequent the Edgewater location and genuinely loved going weekly so when I moved closer to Paramus I thought this would be my go to store. Im debating that now. I went on a weekday at 3 PM thinking it would be emptier. Nope. It was not. Parking was also I N S A N E. Literally people waiting for parking spots and the car lines are wild. The employees also seemed annoyed. I get it, theres difficult people everywhere. But I went up to the front desk to kindly ask where a snack was that I wanted to buy and without even checking first he told me that I probably passed by it in the frozen section and asked if I checked. Mind you, this is my FIRST time at this location so im not used to how its configured. I said the frozen section? not the snack aisle? and he said no like I would have known. THEN he decides to check the system and come to find its sold out. I then had to ask when it would come back and he said he didnt know, maybe in a month. (Wildly unhelpful. Other locations would give me a little more accurate of an estimate) I wanted to tell him to cut the attitude because I havent had to experience such cold employees at a Trader Joe's. I will say the cashier lady was VERY warm and so nice. Super personable. Also because this location is so busy, maneuvering is a whole different beast. I try to be conscious and leave my cart in less busy areas so I can walk in and grab my items quickly in busy aisles but many people just leave their carts in the way of everything or they stand in front of items while chit chatting away. When I go to reach an item in their way, they dont move. .... Less than average first experience and not sure if I want to be back."

"I had such a bad experience here…I went with my sister and I finished before her so I was waiting in the front for her. I noticed a lot of employee started to gather near me and ask me questions I stated I was waiting for my sister to one of the employees and he asked well where is she…………and yes he was………….this location damages the image of Trader Joe’s. Some locations I recommend: Millburn or Clifton."

"I had such a great experience in this store. I stopped in with some friends to grab a few things and Micheline was so helpful we wanted to take a picture with her. Keith at the register was also so sweet and helpful. What friendly staff you have! And what a clean, fun and organized store. I would go out of my way to shop here. Thanks :)"

"I shop here weekly. They always have what I need. The staff is very helpful and they are always restocking shelves constantly so the turnover and freshness of products is very good. Store is clean. It is very crowded on weekends. Parking is tight week days and weekends. People park in the handicap spaces even tho they are not handicapped and have no legal placard. The store does not enforce this law and it’s very annoying."

"This trader joes is always busy! Well stocked, SUPER helpful and happy staff, and the bag releases are managed so well! I always find amazing snacks here for thr nest orices I never spend more than $200 here and i feel like i get way more than i would with a regular grocery haul. Better than whole foods!"
